De Barr, Estelle (21 DEC 1923)

Russell B. Mead, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Mead of this village (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.), and Miss Estelle De Barr of Merrill, Wis., were quietly married at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Brunner on Friday, Dec. 21st, 1923, by Rev. J. H. Benson.

The happy couple left the same evening on their honeymoon, boarding the limited train at Owen, to which they were escorted by a host of friends, rice, old shoes and good wishes.

The bride has been engaged in teaching the Pozen School east of the village. The groom is employed at our leading garage, the Thorp Auto Sales Co.

The many friends of the bride and groom wish them a long, pleasant and prosperous life.
