Surnames: CHAMBERLAIN SMITH Source: THORP COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 04/09/1925 Chamberlain, Sylvia (6 SEP 1839 - 31 MAR 1925) Mrs. John Chamberlain died at her home here (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) on Tuesday, March 31st, 1925, of old age. Sylvia Smith was born in Watertown, N.Y. on Sept. 6, 1839. In 1858 she was united in marriage with John Chamberlain at Plainfield, Wis. 25 years ago she moved to Thorp, it since being her home. She was preceded in death by her husband many years ago. Deceased was buried at Plainfield. She is survived by two children, Ervin and Charles, six grandsons, one granddaughter and seven great-grandchildren.
