Surnames: HOFFENBREDT BEAVER Source: LOYAL TRIBUNE (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) 10/22/1925 Hoffenbredt, Kathryn (20 OCT 1925) A pretty wedding took place at Auburndale, Wis. at St. Mary's catholic Church on Tuesday morning, Oct. 20th, 1925 at nine o'clock, when Miss Kathryn Hoffenbredt became the bride of Mr. Peter S. Beaver, Rev. Joseph Steinhausen officiating. The bride wore a lovely gown of satin faced canton crepe with veil and carried a shower bouquet. She was attended by her sister Miss Clara Hoffenbredt, who wore a pale blue crepe dress and carried a bouquet. The groom was attended by his brother Mr. Matt Beaver. Following the ceremony at the church the bridal party and relatives and friends went to the home of the bride, where a fine dinner was served. The following were present from Auburndale: Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hoffenbredt, Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Hoffenbredt, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Hoffenbredt and family, Mr. and Mrs. George Burdan and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Ashenbrenner, Rev. Joseph Steinhausen. From Loyal, Clark County, Wis.: Mr. Mike Hoffenbredt, Mr. John Beaver, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Beaver, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wedl, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Beaver, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Beaver, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Beaver, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bauer, Mr. Ed, Phillip and Vernie Beaver. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bauer, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Bauer, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Bauer, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Helms, Mr. Oscar Bauer, Miss Anna Platten, also Mr. and Mrs. George Bauer from Granton, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Duvall from Marshfield. The groom is the son of Mr. John Beaver and is well and favorably known in this vicinity. He is an ex-service man and enlisted in the 127 Infantry and was among the first to go across. The bride, although a stranger to many here, is very well spoken of. Mr. and Mrs. Beaver went immediately to housekeeping on the farm north of Loyal and have the best wishes of their many friends for many years of happiness. |
