News: Cawley Creek (31 July 1930)
Source: Neillsville Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) July 31, 1930 Miss Minnie Laager spent Sunday with the home folks west of Neillsville. Bert and Paul Gerhardt spent Sunday in Neillsville with their parents. Mr and Mrs. John Kulab and daughter, visited at the Joe Bird home, Sunday. Mr and Mrs. Erick Lueck and family spent Sunday at Tony Weiting’s in Pine Valley. Mr and Mrs. Henry Harder are entertaining company from Chicago. Mrs. Joe Bird and daughter Vilma spent Friday afternoon with Lucille Lueck. The Joe Bird and Pete Schaefer family visited at the Frank Simek home Sunday evening. Bert Schwellenbach took the Harper and Asplin families to Eau Claire Sunday to visit Clinton Asplin who is patient at a hospital there. Frank Fasbender was taken to the Marshfield hospital, Sunday. Mr. Fasebender has spent the past three months at the home of his sister, Mrs. W. F. Buettner. Mr and Mrs. Len Wachholz, visited Monday evening with Mr and Mrs. Fred Wendt. |
