Surname: Dudei, Beyer, Buth, Bartelt, Schmechel, Rodank, Bartz, Goble, Schultz, Ebert, Rademann -----Source: Neillsville Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) Oct. 9, 1930 -----Dudei, Renate (Marriage - 4 Oct. 1930) Renate Dudei, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Bruno Dudei, of Granton, and George Beyer, son of Mr and Mrs. Fred Beyer, of Milwaukee, were married Oct. 4, at Zion Lutheran Church, Reverend Buth officiating. The bride wore a long egg shell satin dress and a long scalloped veil trimmed with orange blossoms. The veil was caught in a cap effect trim med with pearls and rhinestones, egg shell in color, and carried a bouquet of yellow and pink tea roses with sweet peas on the streamers. The maid of honor, Miss Sophie Dudei, sister of the bride, wore a long melon colored dress with a head ban trimmed with rhinestones and carried a bouquet of roses and white asters. The bridesmaids, Miss Viola Bartelt and Miss Evelyn Schmechel of Milwaukee wore long, green crepe dresses, with head bands trimmed with rhinestones and carried a bouquet of pink roses and white asters. The groom wore a dark blue suit. Walter Rodank of Milwaukee acted as best man. He also wore a dark suit. Harold Dudei and William Bartz, the groom’s attendants, also were dressed in dark blue suits. A reception took place at the bride’s home with sixty quests being present. The room was decorated with white and yellow crepe paper and autumn leaves and Roman candles and a white wedding bell with steamers of Lilies of the Valley. The table waitresses were Miss Edna Goble, Miss Ila Schultz and Miss Myra Schultz. The guests from out of town are as follows: Evelyn Schmechl, William Bartz, Walter Rodank, Harry Ebert, all of Milwaukee; Marie Rademann of Oconomowoc, William Beyer and family of Colby; Beulah ???whouse of Augusta. The bride is going back to Milwaukee where she was formerly employed, while the groom will reside with the bride’s parents for the present. |
