Goebel, Edna (Marriage - 3 June 1931)

Mr. Erwin Garbisch and Miss Edna Goebel were united in marriage on June 3, 1931, at Zion Lutheran Church town of Grant, Rev. J. Buth officiating. The bride and groom were attended by Mr and Mrs. Wilbur Goebel and Miss Natalie Gerber; Mr. Marvin Garbisch and Miss Laura Gluch; Mr. George Skoda and Miss Renatta Garbisch.

After the ceremony a fine wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents, at which about 150 guests were present.

The groom is the son of Mr and Mrs. Robert Garbisch of the town of Grant and is a young man of energy and good character. The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs. Paul Goebel of Grant. She is a young lady of pleasing personality. The young couple left for a wedding trip to Milwaukee and other points and on their return will live on the groom’s farm in the town of Grant. The Press Joins with their many other friends in offering congratulations and best wishes.
