Surname: Fradette, Johnson, White, Young, Paulson, Tompkins Daniels, Haines, Thom, Rach Source: Neillsville Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 18 June 1931 Fradetta, Carol Idele (Marriage - 10 June 1931) Miss Carol Idele Fradette, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Hebert W. Fradette of the town of York, on June 10 at 3 p.m. became the bride of Willard C. Johnson of Marshfield at an impressive ceremony held at the home of the bride. The groom is the son of Mr and Mrs. Oscar Johnson of Granton. The marriage took place before an arch of pink and white flowers and white wedding bells with Rev. Paul White of the Union church of Neillsville performing the ceremony. The double ring service was used, Mrs. John Young at the piano and Miss Pauline Young of the violin played the “Bridal Chorus” from Lohengrin. Miss Nellie Johnson, sister of the groom, was maid of honor and Miss June Fradette, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. H. Raymond Fradette and I. Mack Fradette, brother and cousin of the bride, attended the groom. The bride wore a gown of powder blue chiffon, ankle length, with ruffled jacket, beige pumps and white wax flower headdress. The maid of honor wore an orchid flowered chiffon voile to the ankles and the bridesmaid wore pink flowered voile exactly the same as the maid of honor with beige pumps. Both wore colonial headbands of matching ribbon and both carried sweat peas. A supper was given by the bride’s mother, the dining room being beautifully decorated in pink and white, the Miss Christine and Dorothy Daniels and Ella and Rebecca Haines and Evelyn Thom and Mildred Rach serving. The out of town guests were Mr and Mrs. Clinton Paulson and family, Waupaca; Mr and Mrs. James Fradette and family. Mr and Mrs. Earl Tompkins and family of Greenwood and Mr and Mrs. Milton Johnson and family of Nasonville. The couple will be at home at 730 East Fourth Street , Marshfield. The bride graduated from the Granton high school in 1929 and has been at home with her parents since that time. Mr. Johnson graduated from the same school in 1928 and at present is employed by the Roddis Veneer Co., of Marshfield.
