Chili--Mr. and Mrs. Fred Selk, residents of this community for 32 years, observed their golden wedding anniversary Thursday with a family dinner party at their home.

Table decorations included two wedding akes and cut flowers, daffodils, yellow roses, and snapdragons. Gold colored streamers were used to give the room a festive air.

Fred Selk and Miss Minnie Knigge were married in Chicago on March 16, 1889, and lived on a farm about 40 miles south of Chicago until coming to Clark County, where they continued farming for several years before moving to Chili.

Mr. and Mrs. Selk have eight children; Mrs. A.J. (Minnie) Rab, Chicago; Mrs. Carl (Gertie) Luehrs, Mosinee; Mrs. Ben (Lena) Muir, Chili; Mrs. Walter (Luella) Deichsel, Marshfield; Mrs. William (Linda) Behling, Nasonville; August, Neillsville; George, Chili, and Charley, at home.

Attending the celebration were Mr. and Mrs. AJ Rab and family, Mr. and Mrs. August Selk and son, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Deischel and family, Mr. and Mrs. William Behling and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Muir and family, and Mr. and Mrs. George Selk and son.
