Source: Personal news article collection of Millie Lee KAPIACK-RAND Miss Laura RAND, Chicago, formerly of West Fremont, became the bride of Steve KAPIACK, Chicago, at a ceremony which took place in Chicago Saturday, June 26. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter RAND, Fremont. After the ceremony the couple left for Fremont, where a wedding reception and supper were held at the home of the bride's parents Sunday evening at 7:30. The table, which had as its centerpiece a large wedding cake, was decorated in white and orchid. Among the guests were Mrs. John WIMPLEBERG and daughters Shirley and Peggy, Elgin, IL; Mr. and Mrs. Joe MADLER and son, Stanley, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter HOPP, Chili; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer HOPP, Harriet RAND, and Ann PECKNY, Fremont, and Mr. and Mrs. George BAYER and children, Chicago. The couple also plan to spend several days in the northern lake region before returning to Chicago, where they will reside. The groom is employed as a linotype printer. They will be at home to friends after July 7. |
