BEECKLER-CONVERSE

The marriage of Miss Orra Pearle CONVERSE and Mr. William Price BEECKLER was solemnized on Tuesday, February 22, 1910 at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Freeman CONVERSE in the town of York.

It was exactly high noon when Miss Gertrude HOLMES, a cousin of the groom's, played the first notes of the wedding march and the bride and groom accompanied by the brides brother, Clayton, who had that morning arrived home from Oregon to act as best man, and the groom's twin sister, Pearle, acting as bridesmaid, entered the parlor and took their respective places. Rev. POSTLETHWAITE of Marshfield pronounced the sacred words which united this happy pair in the holy bonds of matrimony. The bride was becomingly gowned in white silk. The groom wore the conventional black. The brides maid wore white and the best man a suit of dark brown. Immediately after the ceremony a bounteous wedding dinner held the attention of all present who beside the bridal party were the immediate relatives of the contracting parties.

Both these young people are well known hereabouts and have the highest esteem of all. The bride a handsome young woman is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Freeman CONVERSE. The groom the second son of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. BEEKLER is an industrious young man of sterling qualities, a graduate of the state dairy school. They are at present in Sheboygan on their wedding trip, having left here on Tuesday afternoon for that place. They will return here shortly to reside a welcome addition to the ranks of married folk.
