Source: Personal news article collection of Millie Lee SMITH-SCHOENGARTH Miss Marian Schoengarth, daughter Mr. and Mrs. H.E. SCHOENGARTH of Granton, became the bride of Rollie SMITH of Eau Claire, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur SMITH, in the the chapel of the Church of Lutheran Hour in Minnapolis last Thursday. The bride was attended by her sister, Mrs. Robert WILLMAN, of Madison, and John CAMERON of Menneapolis, brother-in-law of the groom, was best man. Miss SCHOENGARTH was attired in a blue wool dress with white accessories and carried a bouquet of gardenias and American Beauty roses. Her attendant wore a light yellow dress with brown accessories and carried a bouquet of gladioli and chrysanthemums. A wedding dinner was served in the Nicolet hotel. Immediately after, the bridal party left on a trip into northern Wisconsin and Canada. They will reside in Altoona. |
