CHARLOTTE TROXEL, MR. HENNINGER REPEAT VOWS Ceremony Performed At Methodist Church

Miss Charlotte Louise TROXEL, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin E. TROXEL, 306 W. Doege Street, became the bride of Oliver Lee HENNIGER, Marshfield, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oswald HENNINGER, Lublin, at a wedding ceremony read Sept. 22, at 3:30 p.m. in the First Methodist Church here, with the Rev. Ellery J. BEAL officiating. The altar was decorated with bouquets of fall flowers and Miss Gladys FENNER, of Loyal, sang “At Dawning” and “Always.” Mrs. Garth GRAY was organist.

Approaching the altar on the arm of her father, the bride was attired in a formal white wedding gown. A ninon yoke distinguished the brocaded satin bodice of the frock and the long sleeves ended in points over the wrists. Her sheer ninon overskirt extended into a long court train and a rhinestone tiara held her trailing veil of illusion bordered in lace. For jewelry, she wore her mother’s gold locket and a gold bracelet, a gift from the bridegroom, and white pearl earrings. Her flowers were an arrangement of white gladioli and pink and yellow roses tied whit white, blue and pink ribbons.

Miss LaVonne SMITH, of Loyal, maid of honor, and Miss Winnifred HICKNER, Marshfield, and Miss Elvira HALLE, Stevens Point, bridesmaids, also wore white. Miss Smith’s frock was designed with a satin bodice and cape sleeves and a full net skirt white the bridesmaids wore identical dresses of white satin and net, styled with snug fitting bodices and full bouffant skirts, appliquéd in satin. They carried arm bouquets of gladioli, roses and swansonia, tied whit white ribbon, and wore headbands of the same flowers. Their pearl necklaces and earrings were gifts from the bride.

James M. TROXEL, a brother of the bride, was best man; Delmar CAPELLE, Loyal, and Martin HALLE, Stevens Point, were groomsmen; and Robert ARNDT, Marshfield, and John OLSON, Loyal, ushered.

Mrs. TROXEL, the bride’s mother, chose a fuchsia-and-black ensemble for her daughter’s wedding, while Mrs. HENNINGER attended in a blue costume. Mrs. TROXEL wore black accessories and Mrs. HENNINGER, brown. Both had shoulder sprays of swansonia and roses.

Following the service covers were laid for 75 guests at dinner in the church basement decorated in pink and white streamers and white wedding bells. For entertainment a program was presented by the Young Adult Fellowship with Harvey TeStrake serving as toastmaster. Both the bride and groom are members of the organization.

The young couple left yesterday for southern Wisconsin where they will honeymoon for a week.
