News: Pleasant Ridge (21 April 1932)
Source: Neillsville Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 21 April 1932 Ralph Blackman and Clarion Counsell delivered maple syrup at Marshfield last Tuesday and Wednesday. Mrs. Leo Hantke received word from Chicago that her aunt, Mrs. Helen Haling, passed away April 6. Mrs. Haling is a sister of Mrs. A. R. Swann and Mrs. Emilie Bremer. Deceased was the oldest daughter of the late Mr and Mrs. Dan Sack. Carl Scheeler sawed wood last week for Ed. Selves, Homer Ralph and Clarion Counsell. Harold Huckstead and Clarence Elmhorst also entertained the wood sawers. Mr and Mrs. Geo. Kressalt and family of Spencer spent Friday with her parents, Mr and Mrs. G. Vine. Mrs. P. G Haag visited with her sister, Mrs. Walter Gerhardt and family Friday night. She returned rest of this part is cut off. beginning of this part is cut off. Drescher and family, Saturday. Vivian returned with them. They brought her home Sunday afternoon. Mr and Mrs. Harold Hohenstein and family spent Sunday with her parents, Mr and Mrs. Lloyd Shumway. Mr and Mrs. Geo. Howard spent Sunday with Mr and Mrs. E. Selves. Mrs. Fred Vine spent Sunday with her daughter, Mrs. Ray Suchow. Evelyn Dux spent Sunday afternoon with Vivian Drescher. Mr and Mrs. Willard Gerhardt and family spent Sunday afternoon at the Wm. Duge home. Mr and Mrs. Bergen Smith and family spent Sunday afternoon with Mr and Mrs. Wm. Smith. Mr and Mrs. Clifford Blackman visited Sunday with her sister, Mrs. Geo. Buddinger and family. Mr and Mrs. Leon Stanley and children called at the Chas. Schlegelmilch home Sunday afternoon. Mr and Mrs. Homer Ralph and children spent Sunday afternoon with Mr and Mrs. Bernard Dodte. Donald Vine called on Norman Drescher, Sunday. Mr and Mrs. Albert Wagner visited at the Clyde Raine home last Sunday. Mr and Mrs. Leo Hantke and Nadine spent Sunday at the Albert Walter’s home. Mr and Mrs. Casper Marty and family spent Sunday with her sister, Mrs. Joe Esselman in the Marshfield hospital. She is improving nicely.
