Paul H. Franzmeier of the West Side Immanuel Reformed Church officiating; the ring ceremony being used.

The wedding march was played by Miss Leona Franz of Greenwood. Miss Evelyn Steiger and Miss Ruth Humke sang, “I Love You Truly.”

The groom was attended by Mr. Walter Decker, brother of the bride, and Mr. Elmer Steiger, her cousin. Mrs. Walter Decker, sister of the bridegroom, was matron of honor, and Miss Erna Miller, sister of the bridegroom was bridesmaid. The bride wore a gown of Spanish lace and white satin with a long veil made in cap style. She carried a shower bouquet of white and pink roses, sweet peas and swan Sonia. The bride’s attendants wore gowns of green and pink lace and net, and both carried bouquets of white and pink carnations. The rooms were prettily decorated in pink and green; the flowers were tulips and ferns.

The bride graduated from Greenwood high school in 1925 and later from the Eau Claire County Normal. She has taught successfully since.

The groom, who is the son of Mr and Mrs. Albert Miller, was brought up on the home farm in the town of Eaton. He is a young man of industry and enterprise. They will live on the groom’s farm west of Greenwood.
