SANGER-ROEHL June 19, 1945

Miss Evelyn SANGER, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest SANGER, Chili, became the bride of Alvin ROEHL, son of Mrs. Clara ROEHL, Chili, June 19 at 2 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church, town of Fremont. The Rev. Edgar MILLEVILLE read the double-ring ceremony. The church was decorated with garden flowers.

Miss Virginia HEINZ, accompanied by Mrs. MILLEVILLE sang, "O Perfect Love" and "Hear Our Prayer." The processional, "March Romaine, " and the recessional, Mendelssohn's "Wedding March," also were played on the organ by Mrs. MILLEVILLE.

The bride's gown was of satin with full net over-skirt, buttons in back to the waistline and long puffed sleeved with pointes at the wrists. It was styled with a sweetheart neckline and a shirred bodice. She wore a finger-tip veil of illusion and a strand of pearls, a gift of the groom. She carried yellow roses with white swansonia.

The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Mildred SANGER, as maid of honor. A sister of the groom acted as bridesmaid. Leo ROEHL attended his brother as best man. The usher was Gerald NELSON.

A wedding reception for about 60 guests was held at the home of the bride's parents. The house was decorated with pink, blue and white streamers and white bells.

The three-tier wedding cake was decorated with yellow roses as in the bride's bouquet and on top was a miniature bride and groom.
