Surname: Collins, Gangler, Weber, Wagner Source: Neillsville Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 23 June 1932 Collins, Mrs. Mamie (Marriage - 22* June 1932) * Could be off A pretty church wedding was solemnized this morning (Wednesday) at St. Mary’s Catholic church in Neillsville when Mrs. Mamie Collins of Chicago became the bride of Nicholas Gangler, the Rev. Peter F. Weber officiating at the High Mass ceremony. The bride was beautifully gowned in white chiffon and carried a shower bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley. The bridesmaid, Miss Lillian Gangler, daughter of the bridegroom, wore a lovely gown of blue taffeta and carried a bouquet of tea roses and baby’s breath. The best man was John Collins of Chicago, son of the bride. Lohengren’s Wedding march was play by Mrs. A. C. Wagner. The bride, who is a stranger here, has a charming personality and has many friends during her brief residence here, while the groom has lived in Neillsville nearly all of his life and enjoys the friendship and respect of all of his fellow citizens. After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home and in the evening a reception is to be held at Paulson’s hall. The couple will make their home at Mr. Gangler’s residence at 248 North Hewett street. |
