Bernard E. McCray
Owen Bernard E. McCray, 72, Owen, died at 3:45 Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, where he had been a resident since August 21.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Maurina Funeral Home in Owen. The Rev. Raymond Torgerson will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Withee.
Visitation will be at the Maurina Funeral Home from 9 a.m. Wednesday until time of service. He was born March 6, 1916, in Owen to Fay and Delia McCray.
He had been employed as a janitor for the Weddigs Drug Store and various other businesses in the Owen area for many years. He served as a volunteer firefighter for the Owen-Withee Fire Department.
He was predeceased by his parents.
Date of death was 27 August 1988.
