N. Stanley shot a deer last Friday.

Samuel Newton was camping with a crew from Wednesday until last Tuesday.

R. C. Hine last a span of horses by drowning in the Eau Claire river last Sunday. His son Gerald went up to bring back his brother and Geo. Loyd who were hunting there. The river was very high at the ford and when the horses got about half way they could get no farther. Gerald had all he could do to save himself.

S. A. Gress is here from Neillsville with his house-moving outfit to move John Crandall’s building onto the lot which he purchased of C. B. Travis.
