Obit: Kudingo, Mike (1876 - 1939)
Source: Marshfield News Herald Wed 19 July 1939 p.7 Mike Kudingo is Buried Tuesday. Thorp, Clark Co., WIFuneral sevices were conducted at 10 o'clock yesterday morning at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church, north of Thorp, for Mike Kudingo, 62, who died Saturday morning, July 15, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, where he had been receiving treatment for cancer. The Rev. P. Korsunowsky, Minneapolis, officiated at the services and burial was made in the Holy Ghost Cemetery. Pallbears were Albert Kodl, Walter Tznek, Peter Sawaka, Peter Terlikowski, Edward Lukstin, and Dan Troz. Mr. Kudingo was born in Poland Oct. 15, 1876. In 1894 he came to America and settled in Shamokin, Pa. After three years he moved to a farm in the Town of Withee, where he made his home until his death. His marriage to Julia Pucker took place at Thorp Nov. 6, 1899. Surviving are his wife, three sons, Steve Kudingo, Chicago, and Joe and John Kudingo, Thorp, and a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Mary) Cichowicz. There are also four grandchildren. |
