Tue, Feb 1, 2005 Walter Krahn LOYAL - Walter John Krahn, 98, of Loyal died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2005, in the Palliative Care Unit of Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal. Burial will follow in the Loyal Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cuddie Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church. He was born Jan. 18, 1907, in Milwaukee to Herman and Sophia (Kibbel) Krahn. He married Linda Schroeder on Oct. 28, 1931, at Salem Lutheran Church in Veefkind. He and his wife started Krahn & Schroeder Nursery in Loyal, which they operated for 40 years. His wife, Linda, died on April 4, 2002. He is survived by his sons, Verlyn Krahn, Monroe Center, Ill., and Ronald (Patricia) Krahn, Indianola, Iowa; four grandchildren and eight great-greatgandchildren; and his sister, Selma Plank, Marshfield.
