John Repplinger, wife and baby, of Nauvoo, Ill., came the last of the week to see his mother who is ill.

W. E. Gregory has taken a job of sawing lath for David Wood, near Tioga, and has temporarily moved his family up there.

Miss Simons went to Minneapolis to attend the wedding of her aunt Miss Lillian Simons and Mr. Wm. Higbee, of that city, which occurs at the bride’s home in that city on Christmas Eve.

Miss Arlie Campbell, teacher of the Wilbur school, has resigned her position taking effect at the close of this term. Miss Campbell has taught in the district for two years previous to this and has proved a competent instructor

Mrs. N. Hart is suffering from a fall received last Monday and is under the care of Dr. Moore.

Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Zerbel are having a visit from her brother Rudolph Rick and daughter, whose home is in South Dakota.

Ferd Miller and family enjoyed a visit last of the week from his brother and two daughters from near Neillsville. They returned home Saturday.

Frank Rosolack has rented the Ludwig Mueller house and will move to town and ease up on the strenuous work of the farm. Mr. Rosolack’s son Will will taken charge of the farm.

D. I. Phillips and wife, of Bottineau county, N D., are visiting at the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. S. Phillips, east of town. They are on their way to Texas to make their home in the orange and fig region near the gulf, where Mr. Phillips will engage in orcharding. We acknowledge a pleasant call from both Mr. Phillips and his father.

Mrs. Dupont called on Mrs. Sarah Peterson Wednesday.

Cris. Dahl and sisters Hannah and Tilda, of Strum, visited with their sister Mrs. C. P. Holman over Sunday

Steve, son of Mattt Koboski, is sick with diphtheria and the family is quarantined.

Will. O. Fowler and Harry Hart are home fro the university for the holiday vacation.

Mrs. Fox, who was spending a few days at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. T. Hale, returned to her home at Elroy last Saturday. Mack Gregory and family returned from Washington the fore part iof the week, where they went about ten weeks ago expecting to make their home. The climate did not agree with Mrs. Gregory’s health, hence their return.
