Obit: Mohr, Donald C. (1923 - 1997)

DONALD C MOHR Donald C Mohr, age 73, of 105 W 7th St. passed away on Sunday Jan. 12, 1997 at 8 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Services will be held on Wed. Jan. 15, 1997 at 11 a.m. at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Pastor James Gordon will officiate and Eileen Zank will be the organist. Pallbearers will be his sons: James, Fred, Gary, Ronald, Randy and Steve, and honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons: Joseph and Donald Mohr and his son-in-laws: Rick Willard, Meril Bennett and James Schilling. Donald was born on Jan. 8, 1923, in the town of Pine Valley, Clark County to Fred and Blanche (Begley) Mohr. He attended Silver Crest School. He married Mildred Lloyd on July 18, 1945. They celebrated their 50th Anniversary in 1995. Donald farmed in the Town of Pine Valley and worked at Kurt Marg Rendering, Neillsville, for many years. Donald is survived by his wife, Mildred, his sons: James (Karen), Randy, Ronald, Gary (Judy), Fred (Brenda), Steve (Tammy), all of Neillsville; his daughters, Donna (Meril) Bennett of Longwood, Diane (Rick) Millard, and Joan Mohr, all of Neillsville; his brothers Harold (Mary Ann) Mohr of Hayward, George (Sally) Mohr of Eau Claire, his sisters: Beatrice (Roy) Quelle, Oronoco, MN; Dorothy (George) Waller of Withee, and Ruby (Harry) Ambelang of Neillsville. Surviving also are 22 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Donald was preceded in death, by his parents, one granddaughter Tracey, and one great-granddaughter. Gesche Funeral Home is serving the family. |
