BUFFY D DRANGSTVEIT

Buffy D (Harwick) Drangstveit, age 36, of Hatfield, died Tuesday morning, Aug. 10, 2004, at the Black River Memorial Hospital from injuries she received in a motor vehicle accident in the Town of Adams, Jackson County.

Buffy was born on Oct. 12, 1967 in Neillsville, the daughter of Harry L and Delores (Staffon) Harwick Sr. She was raised in Neillsville. After her family moved to Hatfield, she attended her senior year of high school in Black River Falls, and she graduated from there in 1985.

She was employed at Hardees and the American Budget Inn. She was a member services representative at Co-op Credit Union for the past 12 years.

Buffy and Tom were united in marriage at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Black River Falls on Sept. 5, 1992. She enjoyed shooting pool, and she participated in fall pool leagues. She enjoyed organizing programs and events. She and Tom loved to ride their Harley Davidson Motorcycle.

Surviving is her husband, Tom; her son, Trenton Jon: her step-son, Daniel Thomas; her mother, Delores Harwick of Hatfield; her half-brother, George Trogner, of Cross Junction, VA; her half-sister, Diane (Robert) Vine of Marshfield.

Preceding her in death is her father Harry in 1994, and her twin brother Jody.

Funeral services for Buffy D (Harwick) Drangstveit were held Saturday, Aug. 14, 2004, at the Black River Falls Evangelical Lutheran Church. Pastor Elden Simonson officiated. Burial was in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Bill Fink, Garrett Miller, Steve Wyss, Jeff Eddy, Bob Dougherty and Dick Dundon.

The family prefers that memorials be given to them for a trust fund that is being established for her son Trenton Jon.
