A sister of the bride, Esther Irene, was flower girl. The bride was beautifully dressed in white satin with a tulle veil and a head band of rhinestones. Her bouquet was of roses and sweet peas. Miss Pionke wore a peach colored crepe dress and carried a bouquet of roses and carnations. Esther Irene was dressed in pink silk crepe and carried a basket of sweet peas. After the ceremony a reception and dance took place at the home of the bride’s parents. A color scheme of white, pink and orchid was carried out in the home decorations. A large number of relatives and friends were present to celebrate the occasion. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Talkowski of McMillan. She was born and grew to womanhood at that place. She is refined, attractive, and possesses those desirable qualities which endear a person to everybody. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Skoine. He is a likable, industrious young man and has during the past few years been a prominent farmer in the town of Sherman. Recently he traded his farm for a fine dairy farm near Juda, Wis., where the young couple now reside. The newlyweds leave this vicinity with the Best Wishes of their many friends and acquaintances following them to their new home. |
