A pretty wedding took place at St. Mary’s church in this city on Tuesday morning at nine o’clock, when Miss Irene Miller, of Guttenberg and Mr. Andrew Elsinger, of Loyal, Wisconsin, were joined in the holy bonds of matrimony. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. A. Dupont, in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends. The couple was attended by Miss Hattie Miller, sister of the bride, and Mr. Lawrence Elsinger, brother of the groom.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. Miller, of Guttenberg. She is a young lady of pleasing personality, and is held in the highest of esteem by all in this community. She will make a loving wife, for the young man of her choice.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Elsinger, of Loyal, Wisconsin. He is an ambitious and trustworthy young man, one who has won the respect of all who know him, and is well worthy of his chosen bride.

After the marriage ceremony at the church a reception was tendered the newly weds at the home of the bride’s parents, at which a large number of relatives and friends were present, and a most pleasant day was spent by all. After a honeymoon trip to various Wisconsin points, Mr. and Mrs. Elsinger will go to housekeeping on a farm in Jefferson township, and the best wishes of all the community go with them on their journey thru’ life, as they are both most worthy young people. Andrew Elsinger is well known to many of our readers having grown to manhood here. His bride is from Iowa and a stranger to most of us, but we are told she is an estimable young lady. The young couple spent part of their honeymoon at the John Elsinger home during which time Andrew’s many friends, acquaintances, and relatives were favored with the opportunity to meet and become acquainted with his bride.

Mention was not made of the attire of the wedding party. The bride wore a white satin crepe dress and a bridal wreath of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of roses and lily of the valley with streamers. Miss Hattie Miller, sister of the bride, wore a maize silk georgette gown.

The groom and his brother Lawrence wore conventional navy blue suits.

While here the young couple were royally entertained. They were recipients of many presents, congratulations and best wishes. A reception and free dance was also given in their honor. Mr. and Mrs. Elsinger returned to Iowa yesterday where they will establish their new home. The Best Wishes of the community follow the happy pair.
