Surnames: STAMMER THIEME BREHM Source: LOYAL TRIBUNE (Loyal, Clark County, Wis.) 07/04/1929 Stammer, Evelyn (27 JUN 1929) Evelyn Stammer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Stammer of the Town of Beaver and Alvin Thieme, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Thieme of Curtiss were united in marriage at the home of the brides parents June 27th, Rev. H. F. Leschensky performing the ceremony. The bride was attended by Miss Angeline Stammer and Miss Helen Thieme. The best man was Harry Thieme, and Elroy Brehm acted as the groomsman. The bride wore a white satin face canton crepe dress, trimmed with ribbon and rhinestones, with a corsage of sweet peas and white roses. Her veil was cap style with a double wreath of orange blossoms. Miss Stammer wore a yellow crepe de chine dress trimmed with gold lace, with a corsage of yellow snapdragons and white roses. Miss Thieme was attired in green satin faced canton crepe with a corsage of white and pink roses and sweet peas. The three dresses were bouffant style. Both bridesmaids wore bandeaus. The groom and groomsman wore dark blue suits and the best man wore brown. All had boutonnieres consisting of a rose and sweet peas. After the ceremony the wedding party drove to Greenwood to have their pictures taken. A six o’clock wedding supper was served to immediate relatives and friends. The room was prettily decorated with crepe paper and roses. Miss Sylvia Schuette and Miss Anita Draheim acted as waitresses. The groom is employed is employed in the Fred Laab cheese factory at Curtiss, Wis., at which place the young couple will make their home after Sept. 15th. Those from away who attended the ceremony were Mr. Adolph Schwarze and son Durward of Greenwood and a sister of the bride, Mrs. Arthur Kippenhan of Waukegan Ill. A free wedding dance was given at the Colby pavilion, music by Reil’s five piece orchestra. The young couple started on their honeymoon immediately after the dance for a week of traveling in Northern Wisconsin. The young couple were the recipients of many beautiful and useful wedding presents. The Tribune joins the many friends and acquaintances of both the bride and groom in extending Congratulations. |
