Obit: Laack, Leona A. (1899 – 1901)
Surnames: LAACK Source: DORCHESTER REPORTER (Dorchester, Clark Co., WI) 02/01/1901 Laack, Leona A. (14 FEB 1899 – 26 JAN 1901) Died, Leona A. Laack, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gustav Laack, last Thursday afternoon of Lung fever, at the age of two years. Leona was taken ill Wednesday and after a brief illness of thirty-six hours, breathed her last. Dr. Nedry was immediately summoned but nothing could be done to save her. The funeral services which were held last Saturday afternoon at the home, one and one-half miles southwest of the village (Dorchester, Clark Co., Wis.), were conducted by Rev. Georgi. A large number of friends assembled at the home, and followed the remains to their last resting place in the German Lutheran Cemetery. The Reporter joins with their many friends in extending their sympathy to the bereaved family. |
