Surname: Conner, Heikkinen, Brecke Source: Marshfield News Herald (Marshfield, Wood County, Wis.) Tue, Mar 29, 2005 Conner, Celia A. (25 June 1911 – 27 March 2005) WITHEE -Celia A. Conner, 93, of Gilman, formerly of Withee, died Sunday, March 27, 2005, at Our Lady of Victory Medical Center in Stanley. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Withee. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Withee. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of services today at the church. Maurina/Community Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Celia was born June 25, 1911, to Jalmer and Marie Heikkinen. Celia and Jon Conner were married July 26, 1939, in Owen. He died on Feb. 13, 1973. Celia worked on the family farm before moving to Chicago, where she worked in a factory. She is survived by a sister, Sigrid Brecke, Dorchester; and a brother, Toby Heikkinen, Madison. |
