Jennie F. Krapf, 98, formerly of Willard, died Friday, April 8, 2005, at Memorial Nursing Home, Neillsville. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 12, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard. The Rev. Joseph Follmar, the Rev. Matthew Malnar, and the Rev. Michael Mertens officiated. Burial was in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were David Patridge, Jeff Bleibaum, Kristopher Burrows, David Oldenberg, Mark Toburen, and Paul Zurek. Jennie Frances Koschak was born May 28, 1906, in Ely Minn., to Louis and Johanna (nee Push) Koschak. Her family later moved to the Willard area where she received her education. As a young woman, she moved to Waukegan, Ill., and worked various factory jobs. She married Charles A. Krapf Sr. on Feb. 17, 1931, in Waukegan. In 1933, they moved back to the town of Mead where they homesteaded 80 acres and raised their family. Her husband, Charles, died on Jan. 27, 1986. She remained on the farm until 1998, at which time she moved to the Black River Apartments, Greenwood. She later entered the Memorial Nursing home in January 2002, and resided there until her death. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and its PCCW and the KSKJ Lodge. Survivors include two daughters, Theresa Zorman. Onalaska, and Elizabeth (Duane) Patridge, Mosinee; seven grandchildren, Kristine, Sandra, Mitzi, David, Rochelle, Diane and Daniel; 11 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Kaylee, Ciara, Abigail, Drew, Sydney, Bradley, Kyle, Jake, Morgan and Ellery; one sister, Ann (Hank) Lamovec, Eau Claire; three sisters-in-law, Mary Koschak, Greenwood, Josephine Koschak, Orange Park, Fla., and Mary Koschak, Waukegan, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Charles Krapf Sr.; her son, Charles Krapf Jr.; five brothers, Louis Koschak, Stanley Koschak, Ignatz Koschak, Frank Koschak, and Ludwig Koschak; and three sisters, Christine Belensky, Mary Lesar, and Angeline Knutel. Cuddie Funeral Home, Greenwood, assisted the family with arrangements.
