BioM: Feala, Dorothy M. (1928)
Surnames: FEALA SORENSON KRONSCHNABL ---------Source: WEEKLY CLARION (Dorchester, Clark Co, WI) 11/30/1928 --------- Feala, Dorothy M. (29 NOV 1928) Dorothy Marie Feala, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Feala of Abbotsford, and Clarence Sorenson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Sorenson of Mount Morris, Mich., were united in marriage yesterday morning at 8 o’clock at St. Bernard’s Church at Abbotsford, Rev. Fr. McGuire officiating. Rose and Joseph Kronschnabl, Fr. Were the attendants. The bride was beautifully attired in a blue ensemble, black velvet slippers, gun metal hose, gold metallic hat and a corsage bouquet of roses and lilies of the valley. The bridesmaid was tastily attired in an oak-heart brown gown with slippers and hose to match, a gold metallic hat and a corsage bouquet of pink carnations. The groom and groomsman in their conventional blue added much to the beauty of the scene. After the ceremony the wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s parents and then the bridal party motored to Medford to have their pictures taken. When they returned an abundant dinner was spread at the Feala home for the bridal party and near relatives. During the afternoon friends of the bride and groom came in to wish them joy and remained for a dainty lunch in the late afternoon. Miss Dorothy is well known in Dorchester as she visited here on many occasions and she is also “Hello Girl” at Abbotsford so those who didn’t know her personally, know her voice. She’s a fine young lady and we are sure Clarence made a wise choice. Clarence, of course, needs no introduction to our readers; he is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Sorenson, who for many years were residents here, until they moved to Flint, Michigan a few years ago and is a popular young man, who we are sure will make his mark in life. He is employed at the Buick Factory in Flint, Mich., and is having a vacation until after Christmas. He and Mrs. Sorenson will visit here until then, when they will go to their new home in Flint. They have a great host of friends here who join us in wishing them heaps of good things in life. |
