Surname: Leach, Schaefer, Lindboe Source: Stevens Point Journal (Stevens Point, Portage County, Wis.) 12 April 2005 Leach, Viola (7 May 1922 – 8 April 2005) Viola Leach, 82, of Iola, died Friday April 8, 2005 at Iola Living Assistance. She was born May 7, 1922 in Dorchester, the daughter of the late Charles and Lena (Schaefer) Lindboe. She married Andrew Leach on Sept. 9, 1944, in Milwaukee. He died on May 22, 1991. Viola was a secretary at the Paris Co. in Des Plaines, Ill. She is survived by one son, James Leach of Appleton, and one brother, Clifford Lindboe of Scandia. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 12 at Hitterdahl Lutheran Church in Iola. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery. A visitation will be held after noon on Tuesday at the church. |
