Surnames: SCHOELZEL ---------Source: MARSHFIELD NEWS HERALD (Marshfield, Wood Co., Wis.) 04/01/1941; P. 1 --------- Schoelzel, Arlen (27 MAR 1941) Colby, Clark County, Wis. – Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Schoelzel, who live southeast of here, have not intention of competing with Papa and Mama Dionne – they have never had a set of quintuplets – but in their modest way they are doing the best they can to bring up a family. Latest addition to the family was Arlen, who arrived on March 27, 1941, Mr. Schoelzel’s 41st birthday, to bring the total number of children in the family to 16. All have arrived during the past 16 years and all are strong and healthy. Nine are boys and seven are girls, and their mother is only 33. |
