The bride-elect is the daughter of Ted and Cindy Drescher of Spencer. She earned a bachelor's degree in psychology in 1997 from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and a master's degree in special education in 2004 from the University of Northern Colorado. She is employed as a special education teacher in Lincoln, Kan. Her fiance is the son of Bud and Diane Palen of Denver. He graduated in 1993 from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kan., with a bachelor's degree in agribusiness. He is owner/operator of Palen Family Farms. A July 9, 2005, wedding is planned. |
