Johnson-Yost

Oklahoma City, Okla., where the bridegroom is stationed at Tinker Air Force Base, will be the address of the William L. Johnsons, whose nuptial vows were heard by the Rev. A. Claybaugh Saturday in First Congregational Church, Owen.

The bride is the former Miss Alene Yost of Oklahoma City, and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otis Henning of that city. Her husbands parents are Mr. and Mrs. (unreadable) Johnson.

The couple are touring southwestern states en route to Oklahoma.

When she appeared for the bridal procession, the bride was seen in a dress of nylon lace over satin, with a finger-tip veil attached to a Juliet cap. Bracelet-length sleeves and a sweetheart neckline edged with seed pearls were details of the bodice worn over a bouffant waltz-length skirt.

Her bouquet was a shower of arrangements of white mums and pink carnations.

Attending her as maid of honor was the bridegroom's sister, Miss Janice Johnson of Owen, and Miss Marilyn Sugden, also of Owen, as bridesmaid. Their identically styled frocks were waltz-length, with jackets to cover the strapless lace bodices. Their head-pieces matched the lace and net gowns.

Miss Johnson, who was dressed in mint green, carried orchid and white mums, tied with orchid ribbins, and Miss Sugden, in an orchid dress, carried yellow and white mums with yellow ribbons.

Attending the bridegroom as best man was his brother, Earl Johnson. Thomas Allen was groomsman and ushers were Lynn Fillip and Thomas Johnson, another brother of the bridegroom. All are Owen residents.

As music for the ceremony, Miss Audrey Laskoso sang "I Love You Truly' and "The Lord's Prayer." Miss Joan Zalapski was her accompanist.

The Woodlawn Hotel in Owen provided the setting for the wedding and reception which followed the ceremony.

Out-of-town guests for the day were from Madison, Menomonie, Withee, Thorp, Milwaukee and Medford
