Surnames: MERITT CRAWFORD MERRITT Source: COLBY PHONOGRAPH (Colby, Wis.) 06/06/1883 --------- Crawford, Lizzie (3 JUN 1883) Married, at Unity, Wis., on Sunday, the 3rd inst., by Rev. W. Woodruff, Mr. Henry Meritt and Miss Lizzie Crawford, both of his city. The above couple is well known and respected in this city and vicinity, and there is not one but wish them a happy and prosperous career through life, though some of the boys think it mean of “Shorty” to play the fourth of July trick on them. Henry showed himself sensible and got a neat little cottage ready for his bride, where they will begin keeping house next week, therefore the cottage will not be rented and tenants need not apply. The Phonograph extends its heartiest congratulations to the happy couple.
