Surnames: FAGAN KOHN BRUNETTE Source: Marshfield News Herald September 5, 1967 Page 12 Fagan, Elaine Marie September 2, 1967 Making their home in Milwaukee after a northern Minnesota honeymoon will be Mr. and Mrs. Donald Joseph Kohn, who were married Saturday, Sept. 2. The former Miss Elaine Marie Fagan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Fagan, Withee, was given in marriage by her father to the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kohn, Medford. The Rev. Bernard Brunette, a relative of the bride, presided at the nuptial ceremony in Holy Rosary Catholic Church at Owen at 11 a. m. The bride, carrying yellow roses, white stephanotis, and ivy, entered the church wearing a floor length gown of peau taffeta and lace with train in chapel length, and a crown of aurora borealis crystals securing a bouffant veil of illusion. Her aides were Miss Mary Kohn, Milwaukee, maid of honor, and Mrs. Larry (Judy) Holtz of Beloit, Mrs. Lorry (Barbara) Pinter of Abbotsford, Mrs. John (Marcella) Writz, Wausau, and Mrs. Larry (Betty) Fagain, (sic) Withee, the bridesmatrons. The maid of honor's ensemble was avocado and nile green with a nile green headpiece and the bridesmatrons' were avocado and maize with maize headpieces. Their gowns were fashioned alike in chiffon over taffeta and their headpieces had organza petals with veils. Sandra Fagan, Withee, was flower girl and Alan Sackman, Muskego, the ring bearer. Serving as best man was Daniel Fagan Jr., Milwaukee, and as groomsmen, Larry Holtz, Beloit,; Lorry Pinter, Abbotsford; John Writz, Wausau; and Larry Fagan, Withee. Ushering were Ralph Hansen, Milwaukee, and John Weber, Dorchester. The wedding dinner party was served at the church parlors; the reception took place at the bride's parental home and the evening dance was held at Dorchester Memorial Hall. The bride, a 1965 graduate of Taylor County Teachers College, Medford, is an elementary teacher in Milwaukee. Her husband was educated at Medford.
