Obit: Gluch, Ronald Alan (1938-1996)
Ronald Alan Gluch, 58, Loyal, died May 11, 1996 at his home. Services were held May 15, 1996 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal. Burial was in the Loyal Lutheran Cemetery. Ronald Alan Gluch was born on May 10, 1938 in Neillsville to Ronald and Maureen (Davis) gluch. He grew up on his family's farm in rural Granton. At the age of 14, he started playing organ for his church and has continued to do so ever since. He was the official organist for the 1957 Wisconsin State FFA Convention in Green Lake and the official organist for the 1958 National FFA Convention in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from Granton High School and the UW-Platteville. He married Betty Jane Meissner on July 30,1960 at the United Methodist Church in Chili. They moved to Beatrice, NE where he taught school from 1960-1969. In 1969, he moved his family to Arkansaw, WI where he was employed with Standard Chemical as an animal nutritionist and district manager for 19 years. He moved to Loyal in 1973. He taught agriculture at Colby High School for the 1987-88 school year. In 1988, he took a position of teaching agriculture at Gilman High School. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Gilman Education Association. Survivors include his wife, three sons, Gary (Beverly) Gluch, Columbia, TN; David (Linda) Gluch, Highland; and Daniel (Roi) Gluch, Loyal; five grandchildren, Brandon, Colin, Ryan, Amanda and Andrea; his mother, Maureen Gluch, Neillsville; and one sister, Marge (Jack) Boyer, Wisconsin Rapids. He was preceded in death by his father; and one sister, Virginia Zeigler.
