BioM: Hohenstein, Elsie (1934) Surname: Hohenstein, Peron, White, Knight, Hendricks, Reopella Source: Neillsville Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 30 Aug. 1934 Hohenstein, Elsie (Marriage – 23 Aug. 1934) Miss Elsie Hohenstein, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Hohenstein of the town of Washburn and Mrs. Louis Peron, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Peron of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, were united in marriage at home of the bride’s parents in Washburn at 11 o’clock Thursday Aug. 23. The Rev. P. B White of Neillsville performed the ceremony in the Presence of a group of close relatives and friends. The home was decorated for the occasion a color scheme of pink and white being carried out in the decorations. The bride, a charming young lady, who wore a white satin gown and a head-band of orange blossoms, carried a bouquet of pink roses, swainsona and white daises. Here bridesmaid a sister, Gladys, was dressed in a pink organdy frock with white accessories. The groom was attended by his brother John Peron also of Chippewa Falls Wisconsin. Immediately after the ceremony and the usual congratulations, a bountiful dinner was served to about 30 guests. Those who attended the wedding from outside the community were: Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Peron their daughter, Blanch and their son, John; Mr. and Mrs. Leon Pernon and son, Jay; Lillian Reopelle; Mrs. A. H. Knight and son, Percy; and Lew Hendricks, all of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. The couple plan to move to a farm in the Town of Washburn, where both are well known and have many friends.
