Surname: Turner, Triska, Symonds, Kolemas Source: Neillsville Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 12 July 1934 Turner, Harriet (Marriage – 30 June 1934) Miss Harriet Turner and Mr. James Triska were united in marriage June 30th by Rev. Ernest W. Symonds at his home at 2324 So. Central Park ave., Chicago. The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abie Turner of York. She was dressed in a white chalk crepe ensemble suit with a white lace picture hat and accessories to match and had a corsage bouquet of white gardenias and sweet peas. The groom is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. James Triska of Cicero, Ill., he was dressed in oxford grey. Miss Anna Triska, sister of the groom was bridesmaid, and wore a pink picture hat and pink accessories and had a corsage bouquet of pink roses and ferns. Mr. Charlie Kolemas, a cousin of the groom, was best man and was dressed in a suit of oxford grey. After the ceremony the young folks had pictures taken, after which a wedding supper was served at the home of the groom’s parents to about 40 relatives and friends. The bride has worked in Chicago the past year and a half. The groom has a job as mechanic in McCormicks factory, he has worked there five years. They will make their home with the groom’s parents for a while. Both of these young people have many friends here. The bride was born and always lived here until going to Chicago to work and the groom has lived here with his parents about 2 years.
