Surname: Lenz, Warnke, Heilman, Remus, Anerud, Buchstiener, Roloff, Roehl Source: Neillsville Press (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) 19 July 1934 Lenz, Louis (Marriage – 14 July 1934) Trinity Lutheran Church at Greenwood was the scene of a very pretty wedding on Saturday afternoon July 14, when at 2:30 o’clock the Rev. Geo. Heilman in the presence of relatives and friends performed the impressive ceremony for Louis Lenz, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Lenz of the town of Eaton, and Fred Warnke, son of Mrs. A. R. Warnke of the same locality, the double ring ceremony being used. The bride was given away by her father; Miss Bethel Lenz, sister of the bride, attended as maid of honor and Elmer Warnke, the groom’s cousin, acted as best man. Miss Evelyn Warnke, also the groom’s cousin, and Roy Lenz, brother of the bride, were the other attendants. Mrs. George Heilman played the organ. The bride wore a white satin dress with a net veil. The maid of honor in yellow organdie; the groom wore a dark blue suit the men attendants also being attire in dark suits. After the ceremony the bridal party motored to Neillsville, thence returned to the bride’s home to be welcomed by a houseful of guests. Out of town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Remus of Neillsville, Miss Evelyn Warnker and brother Elmer of Pardeeville. The church as well as the home were prettily decorated for the occasion. A six o’clock dinner was served to the guests by the Misses Gladys Anerud and Milda Buchsteiner and Helen Roloff under the direction of Mrs. Otto Roehl.
