Obit: Hardrath, Emma (1858 – 1933)
Surname: Hardrath, Molle, Nelson, Schuette, Fischer, Peterson Source: Scrap book one: by Elsa Lange Hardrath & Dorthaleen Edwards Hardrath Contributed by Halbert “Bud” Hardrath Hardrath, Emma (1 Aug. 1858 – 20 Jan. 1933) Emma Hardrath nee Molle, was born at Two Rivers, Wis., Aug. 1, 1858. She grew to womanhood there and was united in marriage to Herman Hardrath of Manitowoc, March 20, 1882. They came to Clark County in the year of 1887 and settled on a farm in the town of Green Grove and since have resided in this community. Eight children were born to this union of which seven survive. Her oldest son Arthur preceded her in death thirty-one years ago. For years she has been a suffered of gall bladder trouble and was again stricken January 1, 1933. She seemed to rally but on January 13, 1933 she grew worse and passed away a week later January 20, 1933 at 6:30 p.m. having attained the age of 74 years, 5 months and 20 days. She leaves to mourn her loss her aged husband and her seven children namely: Henry and Herman Hardrath of the Town of Green Grove, Clara, Mrs. Wm. Nelson of Town of Beaver, Albert and Louis Hardrath of the Town of Green Grove, Martha, Mrs. Arthur Schuette of Town of Beaver and Esther, Mrs. Elwood Fischer of Ashland, Wis. Her three brothers Charles Molle, Town of Unity, Fred Molle town of Green Grove, and Louis Molle of Saskatchewan, Canada; 20 grandchildren and one great grandson also survive. Funeral services were held at the Beaver Town Hall and interment at the Beaver Cemetery. Pall bearers were her three sons Henry, Herman and Albert and three son-in-laws Wm. Nelson, Arthur Schuette, and Elwood Fischer. Flower girls were her granddaughters Beverly Fischer, Veryl Nelson, Edna, Myra, and Lila Hardrath.
