Pastor Daniel Ahrens officiated. Music was provided by Joan Neumann, organist, and Tami Blahut, soloist. Parents of the couple are Jack and Emily Molly, Unity; and Ted and Bonnie Polzin, Colby. The bride, escorted by her father, was seen in a dress of white satin and organza enhanced with pearls, iridescent sequins, leg-o-mutton sleeves, and crystalline scalloped ruffles leading into a cathedral length train. The headpiece consisted of a bridal wreath of pearl clusters and iridescent sequined leaves around fabric flowers. Four tiers of ruffled veiling and individual gathers poufs complete the veil. She carried a cascading bouquet of pink and white roses. Trisha Raatz, Colby, was maid of honor. Bridal attendants were Jennifer Polzin, Colby; Darla Kuhn, Marshfield; and Kathis Gaetz, Wausau. They were seen in floor-length, taffeta dresses in rainbow colors of pink, lilac, aqua and yellow. The dresses had lace covered bodices, sheered pouf sleeves enhanced with bows and back ruffles. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white satin and organza gown enhanced with pearls, iridescent sequins, bows and crystal strands, and featured a sweetheart neckline, long satin leg-o-mutton sleeves and crystalline scalloped ruffles leading into a cathedral-length train. She also wore a bridal wreath style headpiece of pearl clusters and iridescent sequined leaves and silk flowers. Four tiers of ruffled veiling and individual gathered poufs completed the attached veil. She carried a cascade bouquet of pink and white roses. Maid of honor was Trisha Raatz of Colby. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Polzin of Colby, Darla Kuhn of Marshfield and Kathi Gaetz of Wausau. They wore floor-length, taffeta dresses in rainbow colors. Brad Thalacker of Eau Claire was best man. Groomsmen were Travis Westerhausen of Wausau, Brian Polzin of Spence and Chuck Molle of Galesburg, Ill. Ushers were Joe Goodwin of Colby and Greg Rachu of Madison. A reception, dinner and dance were held at the Stetsonville Community Center. The bride and groom are both 1989 graduates of Colby High School. The bride is a secretary at Distributor’s Warehouse, Inc., Marshfield, and the groom is a carpenter with Beisner Construction, Dorchester. Following a honeymoon trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple will reside at 1500 S. Adams. Ave. Noted in margin – 1991. |
