Hardrath, Luanne Marie (Marriage – 11 Sept. 1971)

LUANNE HARDRATH, VERN H. SCHWARZE ARE WED AT AUNITY

Miss Luanne M. Hardrath and Vern H. Schwarze were married at Unity Saturday, Sept. 11. They repeated vows at 1:30 p.m. before the Rev. Arthur Rasch, pastor, in St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Green Grove.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hardrath, Unity, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Orlin Schwarze, Greenwood. Mr. Hardrath escorted his daughter to the altar as Mrs. Arlene Schulz provided the organ music. Miss Beverly Schmidt was soloist.

A mantilla-length venis lace on voile headpiece and veil complemented the Victorian style gown selected by Miss Hardrath for her wedding day. Her bouquet was made up of roses, carnations and greens.

Victorian chiffon over taffeta gowns of gold, chartreuse and punch were worn by the bridal aides, each of whom had a nosegay of bronze pompons and baby woodroses with matching streamers.

Miss Sue Hardrath, Atlanta, Ga., served as maid of honor and Mrs. Marian Szep and Miss Janet Edwards, both of Milwaukee, were bridesmaids.

In the groom’s party, DaNeil Humke, Greenwood; Frank Szep, Milwaukee, and Glen Hardrath, Unity, were his attendants. Steven Edwards, Loyal, and Larry Hintz, Milwaukee, did ushering duties.

The Village Place at Spencer was the scene of wedding day activities which included a reception, dinner and dance. The dance music was furnished by the Bill Chambers orchestra.

Mrs. Schwarze has been employed by Figi’s Inc., Marshfield, and her husband works for the Phillips Co. They will live at 913A W. Blodgett St. when they return from a wedding trip to Canada.

The former Miss Hardrath graduated in 1968 from Loyal High School and that fall from Metropolitan College. Her husband is a 1967 graduate of Greenwood High School and has served two years in military service.
