Surnames: KLAK WARGOLET MAMAYEK TOMKOWIAK KLUGIEWICZ Source: THORP COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 07/10/1930 Klak, Helen (2 JUL 1930) The marriage of Miss Helen Klak, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ignatz Klak, to Anton Wargolet, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Wargolet, was solemnized at St. Hedwig’s Church Wednesday, July 2, 1930, Rev. F. Kulig officiating. The bride was attired in a white georgette dress and a white veil, carried a bouquet of white roses, lilies of the valley and ferns. She was attended by a flower girl, little Eleanor Klak of Chicago, and flower boy, Richard Mamayek of Milwaukee, carrying a basket of sweet peas and ferns. A maid of honor, Frances Klugiewicz, niece of the groom, carrying a bouquet of carnations, sweet peas and ferns, three bridesmaids, Harriet Klak, sister of the bride, of Chicago, Frances Mamayek, groom’s cousin and Cecilia Tomkowiak, cousin of the bride, all wearing rainbow colored dresses and hats to match and carrying bouquets of carnations, sweet peas and ferns. The groom was attended by best man, Joe Wargolet, groom’s brother, of Dixon, Ill., and two ushers, Oley Klak, brother of the bride, of Chicago and John Wargolet, groom’s brother, of Milwaukee. All wore the customary blue suits. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride where a large number of friends and relatives gathered. The young couple intends to make their home in Milwaukee and have the best wishes of all their relatives and friends. |
