Surnames: HARDRATH WIEDENHOEFT LANGE LENZ Source: The Loyal Tribune 13 October 1932 Hardrath, Edythe (5 OCT 1932) Miss Edythe Hardrath, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hardrath of Green Grove and Gilbert Wiedenhoeft of Colby, were united in marriage October 5th at the Lutheran parsonage at Colby, by Rev. O. H. Hoffman. The bride was attended by Miss Freda Lange as maid of honor, Miss Mildred Wiedenhoeft, sister of the groom, as bride’s maid. The groom was attended by Mr. Gilbert Lenz of Brownsville, Wis., and Mr. Harold Hardrath, brother of the bride. The bride was attired in Royal blue transparent velvet with hat to match, and carried a shower bouquet of pink and yellow roses. The maid of honor was attired in brown transparent velvet with hat to match, and carried yellow roses; the bride’s maid wore wine colored crepe and velvet with hat to match and carried a bouquet of red and white carnations. A reception was held after the wedding at the home of the bride’s parents, the house being decorated in autumn leaves and crepe paper streamers to match. The newly weds left Thursday on a wedding trip to Edgewater Beach Resort. They will be at their home after Monday, October 10th at Colby, Wis., where the groom is employed at the Midget City Meat Market. Out of town friends who were here for the wedding were Miss Freda Lange of Milwaukee, aunt of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Art Franz of Eau Claire, Mrs. Mary Lenz and daughter Verna and son Gilbert of Brownsville, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Belter of Wausau. So. Green Grove Cor. |
