LINDEKUGEL-ALEXANDER NUPITALS ARE READ SATURDAY IN COLBY

Trinity Lutheran Church, Unity, provided the setting at 1:30 p.m. Saturday for the marriage of Miss Janiece Evelyn Alexander, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Alexander, Owen, and Dale Lindekugel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Lindekugel, Loyal. The Rev. Charles E. Witt, Marshfield, performed the marriage ceremony.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, was attired in a gown of ivory satin and Chantilly lace fashioned with an illusion yoke, fitted bodice, and long lace sleeves tapering to points at the wrists. Her full skirt extended into a long train and her finger-tip veil of illusion was attached to a Juliet cap accented with lace and orange blossoms. She carried a cascade, bouquet of white Easter lilies and hyacinths centered with an orchid.

COUPLE’S ATTENDANTS

Miss Jean Alexander, Owen, the bride’s only sister, was maid of honor, and Miss Arla Lindekugel, Loyal, the groom’s sister, and Mrs. Alfred Edblom, Unity, and bride’s aunt, where bridesmaids.

All were gowned alike in frocks of taffeta with net over skirts and matching stoles in colors of blue, pink, and yellow, respectively. Each carried a bouquet of gladioli, mums, and hyacinths.

El? Klessig, Milwaukee, was best man, and Bud Lindekugel, Watertown, the groom’s cousin, and Alfred Edblom, Unity, the bride’s uncle, were groomsmen.

Arthur Edblom Jr., Unity, another uncle of the bride, and Duane Mrotek, Loyal, the groom’s cousin, ushered for the ceremony.

Carol Edblom, Colby, the bride’s cousin, as flower girl, wore a white satin gown with a net overskirt and net ruffle around the yoke. She carried a basket of red, yellow, and white roses, and tinted mums.

Mrs. Dorothy Fuller, Unity, sang “The Lord’s Prayer” and “Because” accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Witt.

DANCE AT COLBY

The bride’s mother viewed her daughter’s wedding in a navy dress with white and navy accessories and the groom’s mother was attired in a navy dress with red accessories. Each had a corsage of red tea roses and white mums.

A supper was served at 4:30 p.m. in the church parlors to 125 guests. In the evening, a wedding dance was held in the Colby Pavilion.

The bride, a graduate of the Owen High School, was employed as a stenographer at the Roddis Plywood Corp., Marshfield before her marriage. The groom, who completed the Loyal High School, is operating a farm located four miles east of Loyal.

When the newlyweds return from a wedding trip in Northern Wisconsin, they will make their home on the groom’s farm.

Out-of-town guests at the wedding included those from Milwaukee, Hartford, Watertown, Ashippun, Seymour, Spencer, Wisconsin Rapids, Stanley, Owen, Oshkosh, Colby, Abbotsford, Stratford, and Loyal.
