(? – 17 MAR 1916) Peter Dahlby, a well known and high respected citizen, died on Friday last, March 17, 1916, after a long and lingering illness. The funeral took place on Monday, being attended by a large number of friends. The Rev. Kleppe officiated, and interment was at the Greenwood Cemetery. The deceased is survived by a wife and three small children. His mother, Mrs. E. E. Helland of Duluth, Minn., was a constant attendant during his illness. Two sisters, Mrs. E.J. Lauthier of Duluth, Minn., and Mrs. H. Kellesvig of Mt. Horeb, Wis., were present at the funeral. The pallbearers were Martin Strommen, Herman Olson, Arthur Iverson, Albert Fravert, Walter Lamb, Norbert Kuester. |
