Surnames: BROWN HANNA KING BUSS HANNAH Source: CLARK COUNTY REPUBLICAN & PRESS (Neillsville, Wis.) 07/15/1920 Brown, Jacob (1846? – 26 JUN 1920) The following brief clipping from a Portland, Ore. paper was forwarded to this office: “Brown – June 26, 1920, Jacob Brown, late of 1185 Ivon St., husband of Mary E. Brown, father of Robert E. Brown and Mrs. Robert Hanna of this city, and Mrs. James King of Neillsville, Wis. Private funeral services will be held at Finley’s Montgomery at Fifth. Interment will be at Mount Scott Cemetery.” His daughter, Mrs. R.A. Hannah, also writes further facts in regard to deceased: “ At the time of his death he was 74 years of age. For more than 50 years he was a resident of Clark County, Wis., and still has among the old residents here a host of friends who will be saddened by the news of his death, for he was much loved and respected by all who knew him. Two of this brothers, Peter Brown and Joseph Brown live here, and one sister, Mrs. Joseph Buss.” |
