Surnames: FRANK PHIPPS Source: CLARK COUNTY REPUBLICAN & PRESS (Neillsville, Wis.) 11/25/1920 Frank, Mrs. Fred (Marriage – 10 NOV 1920) Mrs. Fred Frank and Mr. Arthur Phipps of the town of York, Clark County, Wis., accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. George Phipps, the last named couple to act as witnesses, very quietly slipped over to the county seat by auto last week Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1920, where under a special dispensation, they had Judge O.W. Schoengarth pronounce them man and wife. Returning to her mother Mrs. Eva Canfield’s home here after the ceremony they found the house prettily decorated for the festive occasion and a delicious wedding repast awaiting them. The guests were limited to relatives. The bridal pair took the midnight train that nigh for Sheboygan and Fond du Lac, expecting to be absent until Dec. 1st. (Granton News) |
