Hardinger, Adeline B. (26 JAN 1916 – 23 DEC 2002)

Adeline B. Hardinger, 86, of Marshfield, died at 1:30 a.m. Dec. 23, 2002, at the Marshfield Center where she had been admitted on May 6, 2000.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Rev. Charles D. Stoetzel, pastor, will officiate. Suzanne Golden will be the organist for St. John's Funeral Choir.

Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Kenneth, Allen, Richard and Thomas Hardinger, Christopher Hardinger and Giovanni Hardinger.

She was born Jan. 26, 1916, in Loyal, Clark County, Wis. to August and Mary (Jordan) Lube. She attended the Loyal and Colby area schools. On May 26, 1937, she married George A. Hardinger at St. John's Catholic Church.

During her life Adeline was a devoted mother and homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and making beautiful quilts. She loved spending time with her grandkids.

Adeline was a livelong member of St. John's Catholic Church.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth (Barbara) Hardinger of Beaver Dam, Allen Hardinger of Mercer, Sharon Hardinger of Marshfield, Richard Hardinger of Marshfield, Thomas Hardinger of Marshfield, and Mary Lou (Marc) Weichelt of Knoxville, Tenn.; and her son-in-law, Allen Mondloch of Spencer. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; her brother, James (Dorothy) Lube of Nevada; and her sisters, Verena (Cliff) Schmidt of La Crosse and Elizabeth Thompson of Wisconsin Rapids. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband on Aug. 12, 1999; by her son, Michael on July 28, 1949; and her daughter, Sandra, who died Jan. 26, 2000.
